Welcome to the Troop 1921!

Troop 1921 is an all-girls Scouts BSA troop dedicated to empowering young women through outdoor adventures, community service, and leadership development. Our focus is on building confidence, teamwork, and resilience, while helping girls grow through skill-building activities and the Scouting experience. Whether it's camping, earning merit badges, or giving back to the community, Troop 1921 provides a space for girls to learn, lead, and thrive in a supportive environment.

Aateka's Eagle Scout Project

Posted by zpeterson on May 30 2026 - 4:21pm

Hello everyone,

I am reaching out to ask for your support with my Eagle Scout Service Project. For my project, I will be building a Flag Retirement Box that will be used to collect worn and damaged flags for proper retirement ceremonies. The completed box will be donated to the Coles Crossing Community Center for use by the community.

The project will take place on:

• Friday, June 5 (Prep Day) – 5pm
• Saturday, June 6 (Main Build Day) – 9:00 AM

Location: 12006 W Morgan Dr, Houston, TX 77065

I would greatly appreciate any help you are able to provide. There are a variety of tasks available, including measuring, assembly, sanding, staining, and general project support.

Please wear clothes that can get dirty, as we will be working with wood, stain, and other building materials.

Tasks will be completed in phases throughout the project. If you plan to stay for the entire project, please consider signing up for multiple tasks so I know which portions of the project you are available to help with.

If you are available to help, please sign up using the link below:
